What's the best canister/upright vacuum to buy in Canada? Our house has mostly hardwood floors.?

I've heard about the Dyson but it's really too expensive. I'd probably want one between $100-300.

Or…where's a good Canadian website that compares vacuum cleaners.

I bought a cheap Eureka Altima from Walmart cost about $89 its yellow and comes with a duster on the side. I have 2 kids and it is amazing. My next house has no carpet at all so I'm giving it to my sister so she can use it to chase her 3 kids up stairs and hers downstairs.I would recommend it to anyone a friend of our has one and it keeps up with 2 big dogs and he is a bachelor who fits all bachelor sterotypes (so who knows how often he actually uses it) but his house gets clean when he uses it. Its bagless and you wash the filter so no expensive replacement filters and if you break a belt its under $5 to buy 2 new ones. For days when I want to vaccum I'll just use the new shop vac.

I don't know what Canada has to offer, but I like my Eureka Mighty Might. I have had it for many years and it does a good job. It has a hardwood floor brush attachment, and the long wand.
