Are commercial vacuum cleaners available for home use?

I am currently looking for a new vacuum cleaner. The old one I’ve had is falling apart and its being held together by a shoulder strap and duct tape. I am currently looking for a commercial upright or backpack vacuum cleaner but I’m not sure if they are meant for home use. Can you help me out here?

Sure why not. If you can find a store that sells one. I'd check in the yellow pages for commercial cleaning supplies.

Expect to pay a significant premium. It will not have more suction. The plastic bits will be replaced by metal and it will have a longer cord.

yes, but if you’re willing to pay that much for a commercial, just get a dyson. they are the best!! my grandma bought one and after using it everyday, i’m making my fiancee get me one for christmas, lol.

sure…you may pay a lot more and they are not ultra maneuverable in small spaces. I prefer the dyson for home use though…Strong and sturdy, yet they are affordable.

Most of the time commercial vacuums are not much different than house hold machine. The usually the only difference is the grounded cord and the machine is warranted for commercial use.

The Sanitaire is Eurekas’ commercial name. Royal also has a commercial back pack.

    Thanks,

Look at Miele vacs and the Oreck upright. I’ve cleaned houses for ten years and those are my top picks.
