I’ve had my SEBO X1 …
I’ve had my SEBO X1 here in the Uk since nov 96 and it’s still going strong, never had a single problem with it. I can’t recommend these cleaners enough!!!

o, actually Miele is releasing new upright in US market. We saw it at the Convention this year, should be on the market in October this year. It looks great! We’ll be sure to release a video as soon as it comes out to share with you guys.

Miele have a new …
Miele have a new upright vacuum just about to be launched in Europe. USA will not get this however as they will continue to get the horrible Panasonic based Powerhouse uprights. Im looking forward to testing the S7 range but I still love my Sebo X1!

As an ex miele …
As an ex miele engineer i was disapointed with the failure rate of their newer vacuums and the cost with regards to parts and repairs. Behind the scenes Miele fell out with Sebo as they asked Sebo to give them a cleaner with the Miele logo on and Sebo said no. I regulary repair Miele vacuums all under 2 years old very rare i see the good old ones that go on and on. Miele over the past 3 years have started cutting coeners with all of their appliances so beware people!!!

Not to sure what you mean by “Quite poor with regards to their parts now”, I have sold them personally for 8 years, and I can count the number of warranty repairs on my hands. They are superb in their quality, just as Sebo is. Sebo for upright, Miele for canister. In the Vegas vacuum convention we did see new German made Miele upright however, they may give Sebo a run for their money. Due out on US market in October.

Good video but as a vacumm specialist the Miele Vacuums are quite poor with regards to their parts now. I would always recommend the Sebo range full stop as nothing compares to them

Please could you test the filtration on the Sebo as well as the Kirby. What would you recommend between the Sebo and Miele. I really don’t mind if it is an upright or canister.

I am A vacuum specialst and no the Kirby Doesn’t trap the dust because on the bottome of the cleaner thier are little lines lets dust escape the best vacuum to have is the Sebo X4 or Milele

Just wanted to …
Just wanted to clarify something, in the video I said that all other vacuum cleaners take a flat belt. This is not correct, there are in fact other vacuums that use geared belts like the Sebo, but Sebo is the only one to warranty the belt for the life of the vacuum.

Seems like a good machine to me. I’d never give up the Kirbys but I would consider buying one of those.
